ABOUT

About Sirens Cheerleaders

Sirens Cheerleaders took off in Canberra in 2011 and expanded rapidly.

We are continuing to add teams and levels, coaches, upgrading our facilities, developing new merchandise, performing at bigger and better events, bringing home trophies, and competing internationally.

What’s Cheerleading?

Competitive, ‘All Star’ cheerleading is a sport in its own right, where athletes learn to stunt, dance, jump, and tumble as a part of a team.

Why choose between dance and gymnastics when you can do elements of both in an all-important team environment?
Cheerleading is very athletic and develops skills for life and it is a recognised sport through Sport Accord.
We have our own competitions, including The World Cheerleading Championships, held in Florida, USA each year.

Everybody has the opportunity to play an important role in a cheer team, both your individual and team skills are developed and celebrated.

The Coaches

Here at Sirens, we have a diverse range of coaches that teach all ages and levels of cheer.
With many collective years of cheer experience under their belts, all of our coaches strive to instill the four core values into our athletes, as well as making them a great cheerleader and and giving them valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership and commitment. We work hard to build self confidence and resilience in all our athletes in a safe, positive and supportive environment.
